First check which way the spring winds, Clock or anti-clockwise?
Place Barrel into a plastic bag to remove spring, to save taking your eye out!
Clean Mainspring Barrel, Arbor and Barrel cover.
Grease and fit spring, making sure it is correct way round
and Tee end of spring is in the hole in Barrel.
and Tee end of spring is in the hole in Barrel.
Replace Arbor and Barrel Cover again making sure Tee end of
spring is in hole in cover.
Job Done!spring is in hole in cover.
