Kahuna Watch with Miyota 2115 Movement with Date at 3 o/c

This watch came in with all the hands freely rotating around the dial face.

The stem came with a slight pull (The winding gear broke).

The back was of the case and the battery was missing (377).

Once the movement had been removed from the case, it became clear why the hands acted as they did.

One of the dial feet was broken and the whole movement was swinging freely.

Set about soldering the dial feet on.

This is my setup for soldering!

New movement arrived and fitted.

Found the fault in the movement, the (Rotor, step motor) Bottom pivot broken.

So a new movement purchased and fitted to watch.

 Also needed to relume the Hour and Minute hands.

Job Completed.
